A Plus did a great job detecting 3 leaks in our community pool. They did the repair months ago and the water level is holding steady. They are professional and you get quality work. They returned the pool pump area to an even better condition than it was before the repair. Their attention to detail is unmatched. If you suspect you have a pool leak, hire these guys.

The experience was good: from setting up the initial appointment to determine the potential problem to fixing the leak. The technicians were on time, thorough and patient. And the problem was fixed. Work quality was good. Plus, came pretty close to the original deck seal color. Would recommend the company.

If you suspect a pool leak, this is the company to contact. Most pool owners never had to find a leak detection company so we just pick one on Google. I did 3 yrs ago, American Leak Detection. They performed a pressure test finding no leaks so thought I had massive evaporation. Frustrated with high water bills, I called A Plus who also found no pressure leaks. But Taylor went further checking lights and skimmer mountings, finding both skimmer throats leaking, bypassing the piping. He said it was common and will be out next week to repair. I've wasted $thousands in water bills when I should have called A Plus first.

Great experience with A plus leak detection! They came out promptly to detect the leak and were able to detect the location of the leak within 45 minutes. A few days later, the crew came out and fixed the leak. They had to dig through concrete and find the source of the leak. They fixed the leak, tested it and patched it back up. I can't even tell they had opened up concrete near the spot. They patched the concrete and even painted it to match my deck. Excellent work! Highly recommended for leak detection and repair!

Update 12/1/2025 We recently got A Plus Leak Detection out to give us a quote for leak detection. A leak was potentially found, but no leak was found after the pool decking was jackhammered out. A second site was suspected and no leak found again. Finally a 3rd location was suspected, and the leak was found and repaired. I wish we would have done this 2 or 3 years ago! I'm hopeful that I can keep the chemicals better in balance now! I had previously posted an unfavorable review because I hadn't received a call back after 3 weeks. The owners went to extraordinary measures to go back and verify that I had indeed called, and tracking down my number to call me back. They also quoted me what they charge for the leak detection service, and were kind enough to make a suggestion to verify whether I have a leak or not before paying them to do it. I'm going to try the test and if I verify a leak, have them come do the detection. Thank you Vikki!

So, I have been chasing a leak for 2 years following a replaster to fix cracks. Plumbing pressure checked, still losing a considerable amount of water. Called A+Plus leak detection. Small fee to check for leaks again, pressure check, found a few minor air leaks, however they also found grout had cracked at the pool skimmer joint, about 5" of skimmer support, (concrete or plaster) had eroded away over the years and allowed water to leak around the skimmer housing. I could not have asked for any better service. Don't call anyone other than A÷Plus leak detection, they found and repaired for a very modest charge.. super service from both teams needed at my pool. Customer gained for life.

Taylor and his assistant came out and quickly located and repaired my pool leak. I was fearing that it would be a costly plumbing repair, but they found leaks in the pool shell at a couple of return fittings and fixed them on the spot. I’m kinda a DIY guy so I had watched a bunch of YouTube videos and spent a fair amount of time trying to find the leak myself with no success. I knew it was time to call out the pro’s. I’m glad I called A Plus Leak Detection and glad they sent out Taylor. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I called initially to have these guys come out to help me find a leak in an irrigation system that my company was hired to repair. Unfortunately, the pipe ran underneath a large concrete patio for a commercial property. The concrete and clay soil was so thick it was almost impossible to find this leak, but Mike and his helper Josh were able to pinpoint the sound of leak in a specific area under the concrete. Mike, your advice was right on and we were able find the leak in the 2 inch main line. Thank you for your work.

Great work! I thought that I had a real large problem. I might have to break up lots of concrete to get to a leak. The team at A-Plus have special tools to find the leak. I was so wrong about what the problem was. They found it and repaired it in a short amount of time. Big problem was really an easy fix. Thank you so much. Oh, I am a master plumber and thought I knew pool plumbing. I bow to the experts.

Great experience, we had a pressure test and dye test performed. Leaks were identified and fixed via skimmer injection and epoxy around the return nozzles. Shoutout to Oz and Jimmy, very knowledgeable and helpful.

While it's never great to have a leak on your pool, I was very happy when this team showed up. They were prompt, they were competent, and they were very thorough while diagnosing my problem. These guys are great! Their pool tech is the key as he is extremely thorough and take the time to find the problems and fix them right. You should give him a raise/bonus as he takes care of customers the right way. They found my leak in one of my recirculating jets and fixed it promptly.

Just moved to Houston and have searched high and low for a good pool maintenance team and found A-Plus Leak Detection. Had my concerns addressed through their expertise in pool maintenance and they really took the time to explain what they found after the leak assessment. They were very professional and took the time to make sure I understood what was needed and the work they completed. This team went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable with the work. Leak Detected! I called Andy and he had his guys come out and got to work right away. It was a hard one and had to come back to narrow it down. They remained diligent and finally found it and fixed it. Turned out to be a leak at a bottom drain. Diving into that cold water this time of year his team was determined to get it fixed! I was so worried that it be a huge expense but Andy reassured that it would not be. His team was professional and trustworthy even when I was not here which is huge in my book! A Plus Leak Detection, came a few days early. Detected a leak a came back to repair. Since then the pool has no leaks! Awesome experience, that I have dealt with for 5 months, and in one week they fixed the problem!

I called to find the source of my water dropping 1/2 inch daily and to find a leak in my waterfall. Steve and another tech came, spent 2-3 hours testing all of the pipes and checking the pool, hot tub, and waterfall. They showed me where the waterfall was leaking but said pipes were good. They said they just sealed the joint for the skimmer flapper and also the pool light cables into the niches. I thought I would be disappointed, but sure enough after a couple of weeks monitoring, I was surprised to find that their work had completely stopped the pool leak. Well done, we’re very pleased.

A Plus did a great job finding our leaks and then making repairs. They were very courteous and kept us informed of what was happening.

They came out same day and offered a better price than any other company I spoke to. After the first visit the pool was still leaking so I got them out a second time and the problem now appears to be fixed (fingers crossed). I hope anyone who reads this google review and get positive thoughts and experiences like me! Thank God , There are still honest people out there! I was not sure to hire a company to find the leaks in my pool. I looked the reviews on Google and hire A Plus. The technician "Sergio" spent almost 4 hours to find the leaks in my pool. I watched him on my security cameras. He worked like little ants! :) He was all over my pool . He did not have a break! He really cares about his customers! He also told me I might have gas leak in my outdoor kitchen . He even found a gas leak in my outdoor kitchen that I was not aware! He help me to find the gas valves . I thank, A Plus Leak Detection from bottom of my heart! I do not need to pay $200 water bill every months! :) Thank you guys!

I highly recommend A+ Leak Detection. My pool had multiple leaks, all hidden underground. An expert came with special equipment and pin pointed where each leak was located. Then I opted to use them for all the needed repairs as well. They repaired the 2 pipes and 1 structural leak, and spray foam sealed the internal walls around the skimmers. After the work was completed they cemented and finished the surface to match. Very professional, courteous and on time. They were happy to patiently answer all my questions during the testing and the repair work without hesitation. Will definitely call them again when needed.

I finally convinced myself that my pool must have a leak after having to add water every other day. I called A Plus Leak Detection and on their initial visit they found three leaks. They were able to repair the two simpler leaks but would have to come back for the skimmer repair. About a week later they were back and fixed the major problem. They were very efficient and precise about this more major repair. After a couple of weeks monitoring the water level I can confirm that A Plus solved my problem. I highly recommend this company. Prompt, courteous, and very reasonable pricing.

Andy and his team did a great job updating our pool with a brand new waterfall, tile, coping and spa stone, plus adding eco finish to the pool interior. Cameron, Mike and Jimmy were amazing working out in this July Houston heat….we truly appreciated their work ethic!

Andy and his guys got my company out of a jam after building a pool house our client informed us he had a leak somewhere from his pool and felt we may have caused it. Andy and his team did a great job when we were concerned that our pool was leaking and feared the worst. They confirmed our pipes were in good condition and pointed out our aged skimmer had eroded grout as well as fine cracks in it. Instead of breaking up concrete and replacing the whole unit, a regrout and skimmer injection to seal cracks was performed without any obvious cosmetic repairs visible. Thanks Andy!

I found standing water in my yard this week after cleaning up dead bushes and leaves I dug a hole to find out where this water was coming from and after looking into it I found the source it was my pool leaking. After calling 4 leak detection company's there time line was 2 weeks to look at it. Andy called the next day and said he could be out in 2 days the next day he called and could fit me in the next day. He sent Sergio and we found the source of a PVC pool pipe has a small leak Sergio was very polite and explained the steps.
